Véronique Proulx is President and CEO of the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ) since November 2024.
She has an extensive background in entrepreneurship and a strong expertise in the export and manufacturing sectors of Quebec’s economy
Proulx joined Québec Manufacturers and Exporters (MEQ), a division of Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME), in March 2015 as the Director of Communications, Public Affairs and Strategy. She was appointed Vice President Corporate Affairs and Strategy in January 2016 and ultimately assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer in September 2017- becoming the first woman to hold this position. She was also appointed to CME’s national leadership team as Senior Vice President, National Policy & Public Affairs.
Prior to CME, she held the Director of International Affairs position at Laval Technopole and was the President of Commerce International Québec.
Recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Influential Women in 2021 and recipient of the “Prix Bâtisseur2024 – Décadra from ESG UQAM for her contribution to building the ESG UQAM community through her visibility and engagement, reflecting values of innovation, creativity, and social responsibility.
Proulx also serves on several boards, promoting innovation and community development. Her leadership fosters business growth, strengthens local economies, and supports future generations.
Mrs. Proulx holds an Executive MBA from Paris-Dauphine University and UQAM.
